Make this creamy white fudge with crunchy macadamia nuts for a sophisticated, buttery sweet treat perfect for gifting or serving.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 (12 ounce) package white chocolate chips
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup chopped macadamia nuts

Instructions

  1. Line an 8×8 inch baking pan with parchment paper, leaving an overhang on the sides for easy removal. Lightly grease the paper.
  2. In a medium saucepan over low heat, combine the sweetened condensed milk, white chocolate chips, and butter.
  3. Stir constantly until the chocolate and butter are completely melted and the mixture is smooth. Do not let it boil.
  4. Remove the pan from the heat. Stir in the vanilla extract and the chopped macadamia nuts.
  5. Pour the fudge mixture into the prepared pan and spread it evenly.
  6. Let the fudge cool at room temperature for about 2 hours, or refrigerate for 1 hour until firm.
  7. Use the parchment overhang to lift the fudge from the pan. Cut into small squares for serving.

Notes

  • For a cleaner cut, chill the fudge completely before slicing.
  • You can toast the macadamia nuts lightly before adding them for a deeper flavor.
  • This recipe makes a great easy dessert gift when wrapped in cellophane.
