Make this creamy and tangy dill pickle dip for your next gathering. It is quick to prepare and uses simple ingredients, making it a perfect crowd-pleaser for parties or game day.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup finely chopped dill pickles
  • 1/4 cup pickle juice
  • 1 teaspoon dried dill weed
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh chives, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Place the softened cream cheese and sour cream in a medium mixing bowl. Beat them together with an electric mixer until the mixture is smooth and fully combined.
  2. Stir in the finely chopped dill pickles, pickle juice, dried dill weed, and garlic powder until everything is evenly distributed.
  3. Taste the dip and add more pickle juice or seasoning if you desire a stronger flavor.
  4. Cover the bowl and chill the dip in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes. This allows the flavors to meld together.
  5. Before serving, transfer the dip to a serving bowl. Garnish with fresh chives, if using.
  6. Serve your easy dill pickle dip cold with chips, pretzels, crackers, or fresh vegetables.

Notes

  • For an extra layer of texture, mix 2 tablespoons of toasted panko breadcrumbs into the dip before chilling.
  • If you are making this for a party, you can prepare the dip a day ahead. Keep it covered in the refrigerator.
  • This dip pairs well with sturdy tortilla chips or ridged potato chips for dipping.
