Make quick, crispy salmon bites in your air fryer with a simple garlic parmesan coating. This recipe is perfect for an easy appetizer or a healthy snack.

  • 1 pound salmon fillet, skin removed and cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Pat the salmon cubes dry with paper towels. This helps them crisp up.
  2. In a medium bowl, toss the salmon cubes with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, dried parsley, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
  3. Place the coated salmon cubes in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Do not overcrowd the basket; work in batches if necessary.
  4. Air fry at 380°F (195°C) for 8 to 10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through the cooking time.
  5. Remove the basket from the air fryer. Immediately sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese over the hot salmon bites. The residual heat will melt the cheese slightly.
  6. Transfer the salmon bites to a serving plate. Garnish with fresh chopped parsley.
  7. Serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

  • For extra crispy salmon bites, spray the basket lightly with cooking spray before adding the fish.
  • If you do not have an air fryer, you can bake these at 400°F (200°C) for 12 to 15 minutes on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
