Make the famous Neiman Marcus Dip, also known as the Million Dollar Dip. This creamy, cheesy, cold appetizer featuring bacon and almonds is quick to prepare and perfect for parties or game days.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 4 green onions, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup crumbled cooked bacon
  • 1/2 cup sliced almonds, toasted

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and mayonnaise. Mix until the texture is smooth and fully combined.
  2. Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese, sliced green onions, and crumbled bacon. Mix well to distribute the ingredients evenly throughout the base.
  3. Cover the bowl and chill the dip in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours. Chilling allows the flavors to blend.
  4. Just before serving, sprinkle the toasted sliced almonds over the top of the dip.
  5. Serve this easy appetizer cold with crackers, tortilla chips, or fresh vegetables.

Notes

  • To toast the almonds, spread them in a single layer on a dry skillet over medium heat. Cook for 3 to 5 minutes, stirring often until fragrant and lightly browned. Watch them closely as they burn fast.
  • You can prepare this dip up to 24 hours ahead of time. Add the almonds right before you serve it.
  • This dip is a favorite for holiday appetizers and potluck favorite dip gatherings.
