Make a delicious, low-carb version of the classic Big Mac special sauce right in your kitchen. This sugar free special sauce recipe delivers the authentic taste you crave for your keto burgers.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup mayonnaise (full fat, check for no added sugar)
  • 1/4 cup sugar free ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons dill pickle relish (ensure it is low carb or sugar free)
  • 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
  • 1 teaspoon white vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon xanthan gum (optional, for thickness)

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine the mayonnaise, sugar free ketchup, dill pickle relish, and yellow mustard.
  2. Add the white vinegar, onion powder, garlic powder, and paprika to the mixture.
  3. Stir all ingredients together until they are completely blended and the color is uniform.
  4. If you desire a thicker sauce, whisk in the xanthan gum slowly until the desired consistency is reached.
  5. Cover the bowl and refrigerate the sauce for at least 30 minutes before serving. This allows the flavors to fully combine.
  6. Taste the sauce and adjust seasonings if needed before using it on your low carb burgers or as a keto dipping sauce.

Notes

  • For the most authentic taste, use a mayonnaise brand you trust for your low carb meal prep.
  • If you cannot find sugar free relish, finely chop dill pickles and add a small amount of keto sweetener to taste.
  • This homemade Big Mac dressing keeps well in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week.
  • Use this as a best keto condiment for lettuce wrap burgers or as a healthy Big Mac dip.
