  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Lightly grease a baking dish.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together the Dijon mustard, honey, olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper to create the sauce.
  3. Place the chicken breasts in the prepared baking dish.
  4. Pour half of the honey dijon sauce evenly over the chicken breasts.
  5. Bake for 15 minutes.
  6. Remove the dish from the oven and brush the remaining sauce over the chicken.
  7. Return the chicken to the oven and bake for another 5 to 10 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165 degrees Fahrenheit and the sauce is slightly caramelized.
  8. Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before serving.
