Bake tender boneless chicken breasts covered in a simple, creamy garlic parmesan sauce for a flavorful weeknight dinner.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Lightly grease a baking dish.
  2. Season the chicken breasts on both sides with salt and pepper. Place them in the prepared baking dish.
  3. In a medium bowl, whisk together the heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, and chicken broth until smooth.
  4. Pour the sauce evenly over the chicken breasts in the baking dish.
  5. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until the internal temperature of the chicken reaches 165 degrees Fahrenheit and the sauce is bubbly.
  6. Sprinkle with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

  • For a crispier top, sprinkle 1/4 cup of breadcrumbs mixed with 1 tablespoon of melted butter over the sauce during the last 5 minutes of baking.
  • You can use chicken thighs instead of breasts; adjust the baking time as needed.
  • This recipe is naturally low carb.
