Make this classic, creamy Millionaire Pie without turning on your oven. It features a graham cracker crust, a sweet filling with pineapple and pecans, and a fluffy topping.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 6 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 (8 ounce) can crushed pineapple, drained well
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans, plus extra for topping
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup frozen whipped topping, thawed (or Cool Whip)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the crust: Mix graham cracker crumbs and 1/4 cup sugar in a medium bowl. Pour in melted butter and mix until the crumbs are evenly moistened. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom and up the sides of a 9-inch pie plate. Place the crust in the freezer while you prepare the filling.
  2. Make the filling base: In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth. Gradually beat in the sweetened condensed milk until fully combined and creamy.
  3. Add flavor components: Stir in the well-drained crushed pineapple, 1/2 cup chopped pecans, and vanilla extract. Mix until just combined.
  4. Fold in topping: Gently fold in the thawed whipped topping until no white streaks remain. Do not overmix.
  5. Assemble the pie: Spoon the filling evenly into the chilled graham cracker crust.
  6. Chill: Cover the pie loosely with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or until firm.
  7. Serve: Before serving, top the pie with additional chopped pecans. Slice and serve cold.

Notes

  • Drain the crushed pineapple thoroughly; excess liquid will make the filling runny. Press the pineapple between paper towels to remove as much moisture as possible.
  • You can substitute walnuts for pecans if desired.
  • This recipe is often called Million Dollar Pie.
