Ingredients
Scale
4 (6 ounce) salmon fillets, skin on or off
4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
1 teaspoon dried parsley
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Place the salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet.
In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, minced garlic, lemon juice, parsley, salt, and pepper.
Spoon the garlic butter mixture evenly over the top of each salmon fillet.
Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork. Cooking time depends on the thickness of your fillets.
Serve immediately with fresh lemon wedges, if desired.
Notes
For extra flavor, you can add a sprinkle of paprika or a dash of Worcestershire sauce to the butter mixture.
If you prefer crispy skin, place the salmon skin-side down and bake for the full time, or briefly broil for the last minute, watching carefully to prevent burning.
This dish pairs well with roasted asparagus or simple rice pilaf for a complete meal.
