Make this creamy fruit dip using simple ingredients. It is sweet, requires no marshmallow fluff, and is perfect for parties or everyday snacking.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar, sifted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons milk or heavy cream

Instructions

  1. Place the softened cream cheese in a medium bowl.
  2. Beat the cream cheese with an electric mixer until it is smooth and creamy.
  3. Gradually add the sifted powdered sugar, mixing on low speed until combined.
  4. Add the vanilla extract and milk or cream.
  5. Increase the mixer speed to medium-high and beat until the dip is light and fluffy, about 2 minutes.
  6. Serve immediately with fresh fruit, or cover and chill for up to 2 hours before serving.

Notes

  • For a slightly caramel flavor, substitute 1/4 cup of the powdered sugar with packed light brown sugar.
  • If the dip seems too thick after chilling, stir in one teaspoon of milk at a time until you reach your desired consistency.
  • This dip pairs well with strawberries, grapes, apple slices, and pineapple chunks.
