Ingredients
Scale
4 (6 ounce) salmon fillets, skin on or off
1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
3 tablespoons honey
2 tablespoons soy sauce
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 teaspoon salt
Optional: fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil for simple cleanup.
Place the salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet. Pat the salmon dry with paper towels.
In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, Dijon mustard, pepper, and salt to create the glaze.
Spoon the honey garlic butter glaze evenly over the top of each salmon fillet.
Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork. Cooking time depends on the thickness of your fillets.
Remove from the oven. Garnish with fresh parsley, if using. Serve your tender salmon immediately.
Notes
For a slightly crispier topping, you can briefly place the salmon under the broiler for the last 1-2 minutes, watching closely to prevent burning the honey.
This recipe works well for meal prep; store cooled leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
If you prefer a lemon flavor, add 1 tablespoon of fresh lemon juice to the glaze mixture.
