Make this rich, cheesy baked garlic bread dip for your next gathering. It combines roasted garlic, cream cheese, and mozzarella into a warm, shareable appetizer perfect for dipping crusty bread.

  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese, divided
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 4 cloves roasted garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley, for garnish
  • Crusty bread or crostini, for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Lightly grease an 8-inch pie dish or small oven-safe skillet.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, sour cream, and mayonnaise until smooth.
  3. Stir in the Parmesan cheese, minced roasted garlic, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well to combine all ingredients.
  4. Fold in 3/4 cup of the mozzarella cheese into the mixture.
  5. Spread the dip evenly into your prepared baking dish.
  6. Sprinkle the remaining 1/4 cup of mozzarella cheese over the top of the dip.
  7. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the dip is hot throughout and the top cheese is melted and lightly golden brown.
  8. Remove from the oven and let it cool for 5 minutes before serving.
  9. Garnish with fresh parsley. Serve immediately with warm crusty bread for dipping.

Notes

  • To roast garlic quickly, slice the top off a head of garlic, drizzle with olive oil, wrap in foil, and bake at 400 degrees Fahrenheit for 30 minutes until soft.
  • You can prepare the dip mixture up to 24 hours ahead of time; cover and refrigerate. Add 5-10 minutes to the baking time if baking straight from the refrigerator.
  • This dip pairs well with crackers, tortilla chips, or raw vegetables for variety.
