Make this rich, creamy chocolate martini at home. This easy recipe delivers a decadent dessert cocktail perfect for date night or parties.

Ingredients

  • 2 oz Vanilla Vodka
  • 1 oz Chocolate Liqueur (like Godiva)
  • 0.5 oz Crème de Cacao (dark or white)
  • 0.5 oz Heavy Cream or Milk
  • Chocolate shavings for garnish

Instructions

  1. Chill your martini glass in the freezer or fill it with ice water while you prepare the drink.
  2. Add the vanilla vodka, chocolate liqueur, crème de cacao, and heavy cream into a cocktail shaker filled with ice.
  3. Seal the shaker tightly and shake hard until the outside of the shaker is very cold, about 20 to 30 seconds. This creates the creamy texture.
  4. Discard the ice water from your chilled martini glass.
  5. Strain the mixture into the chilled martini glass.
  6. Garnish the drink with chocolate shavings or a light dusting of cocoa powder before serving immediately.

Notes

  • For a richer chocolate flavor, use dark crème de cacao.
  • If you prefer a less sweet drink, reduce the crème de cacao slightly.
  • To make this a Baileys Chocolate Martini, substitute the heavy cream with 1 oz of Baileys Irish Cream.
  • For an after-dinner treat, rim the glass with chocolate syrup before pouring.
