Make these easy Buffalo Chicken Sliders for your next gathering. They feature shredded chicken tossed in spicy buffalo sauce, layered with cheese, and baked on soft rolls for a crowd-pleasing game day snack.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 (12 count) package slider rolls (Hawaiian rolls work well)
  • 2 cups cooked, shredded chicken
  • 1/2 cup Buffalo sauce (use your favorite brand)
  • 1/2 cup Ranch dressing (plus extra for drizzling)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar or Monterey Jack cheese
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9×13 inch baking dish or line a sheet pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the shredded chicken, Buffalo sauce, and 1/2 cup of Ranch dressing. Mix until the chicken is evenly coated.
  3. Slice the package of slider rolls in half horizontally, keeping the rolls connected. Place the bottom half of the rolls in the prepared baking dish.
  4. Spread the buffalo chicken mixture evenly over the bottom layer of rolls.
  5. Sprinkle the shredded cheese over the chicken mixture.
  6. Place the top half of the rolls over the cheese.
  7. In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, garlic powder, and dried parsley. Brush this butter mixture evenly over the top of the rolls.
  8. Cover the baking dish tightly with aluminum foil. Bake for 15 minutes.
  9. Remove the foil and bake for another 5 to 10 minutes, or until the cheese is fully melted and the tops of the rolls are golden brown.
  10. Remove from the oven. Slice the sliders apart between the rolls. Drizzle with extra Ranch dressing before serving warm.

Notes

  • For a tangier flavor, substitute Blue Cheese dressing for the Ranch dressing in the chicken mixture.
  • If you are making these ahead of time, assemble the sliders completely but do not brush with the butter topping or bake. Cover and refrigerate for up to 4 hours. Add 5 minutes to the covered baking time if baking straight from the refrigerator.
  • Use rotisserie chicken to save time when preparing this quick weeknight dinner option.
