Make this simple, creamy banana smoothie in five minutes. It is a healthy option perfect for a quick breakfast or post-workout snack.

Ingredients

  • 2 medium ripe bananas, frozen
  • 1 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy)
  • 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Place the frozen bananas, milk, Greek yogurt, vanilla extract, and cinnamon into a blender.
  2. Add chia seeds if you are using them for extra nutrition.
  3. Blend on high speed until the mixture is completely smooth and creamy. Stop and scrape down the sides if needed.
  4. If the smoothie is too thick, add a splash more milk and blend again until you reach your desired consistency.
  5. Pour immediately into a glass and serve.
